You may have noticed a large digger and dumper truck at the far end of the field at Slamseys if you’ve walked along the bridleway that runs from the Country Park to Blackley Lane.

The countryside is looking wonderful at the moment with the wild roses in the hedgerows and cow parsley on the field margins in full bloom. The grass has grown so tall in places that it’s become difficult to walk through, so Jack has been out today cutting some of the grass along the public footpaths…
